When thinking about major online sales platforms in France, the Fnac marketplace immediately comes to mind. Since 2009, it has carved out a solid position alongside Amazon and Cdiscount. This success is largely thanks to the strength of the Fnac brand: the Fnac-Darty group attracts around 30 million visitors each month, with a loyal customer base of over 36 million. That’s no small feat: nearly one in two French people is a customer.
Initially focused on cultural products, the marketplace has expanded significantly. Today, you can find more than 40 million listings across around fifty categories: tech, culture, as well as sport, home décor, garden, and more. In short, a vast selection. The main advantage for professional sellers joining the platform is the exceptional visibility, as their products are displayed alongside those sold by Fnac.

To be able to sell on the Fnac marketplace and benefit from the visibility it offers, several conditions must be met.
Check our guide
To list your products on the Cdiscount marketplace and gain greater visibility among qualified prospects, make full use of Lengow’s tools. We support you from start to finish and highlight the various advantages of our feed management solution for your online business.
Registration takes place in three main steps:
1/ Create a seller account
Go to the Fnac website, on the professional sellers’ page. Fill in the form with the name, address, and identity of the business owner.
2/ Upload administrative documents
These documents serve to confirm the legitimacy of your company: registration in your country’s commercial register or declaration to the relevant authorities, a KBIS extract dated within the last 3 months, proof of identity, business bank account details, etc.
3/ Data verification before account approval
Now, a bit of patience! The information provided is verified by Fnac. This step is necessary to protect the platform from potential fraudsters or businesses that are not legally compliant. Once verification is complete, the profile is approved and the seller can begin using the account.
Got a valid account? Great! Now it’s time to get started.
Once registered, you’ll need to add a product catalogue for the items you wish to sell. There are several options available depending on your preferences. You can import a catalogue using an Excel file, connect via the platform’s API to integrate your product database, or use Lengow’s integration tool.
As everyone knows, product listings are the shop window of any online store. It’s important to pay close attention to the details and provide as much useful information as possible for potential buyers. Make sure each listing includes high-quality images or videos, detailed descriptions, and whenever possible, showcase customer reviews to boost your reputation and drive engagement.
Follow the setup steps to add the Fnac channel to your Lengow account while managing your product feeds through Cdiscount’s new environment: Octopia. The tool will then synchronise your catalogue, update product information, assist with order management, and suggest optimisations.
