Your Lengow plugin for Shopware
Popular with mid-market and larger merchants across the DACH region and beyond, Shopware is a flexible, developer-friendly commerce platform. There are really two Shopwares to know about, and the distinction matters when you connect to Lengow: the current Shopware 6, rebuilt on a modern architecture, and the earlier Shopware 5, now in its twilight. Lengow provides a plugin for each, but they are not equal.
On Shopware 6, the plugin is actively maintained and compatible with versions 6.7 through 6.7.5.1. This is the version we recommend, and the one that keeps receiving fixes and improvements. On Shopware 5, the plugin still works with versions 5.5 to 5.7, but that branch is no longer maintained: no patches, no technical updates, no security fixes, no new features. If you are still on Shopware 5, the connection remains possible today, though planning a move to Shopware 6 is the sensible long game.
Whichever version you run, the principle is the same once the plugin is in place. It draws your catalogue into Lengow, where you shape and enrich it channel by channel, sends it out to your chosen marketplaces and advertising channels, and brings the resulting orders back into Shopware with stock kept in step. A dedicated Lengow entry then lives in your Shopware sidebar for products, orders, settings and support.

Compatibility and prerequisites
Shopware 6 (recommended)
The latest plugin is compatible with Shopware 6 versions 6.7 to 6.7.5.1, and is actively maintained.
Activation runs through the command line, so plan for server access, or a developer’s help, at install time.
Shopware 5 (legacy)
The plugin still supports Shopware 5.5 to 5.7, but this branch receives no patches, security fixes or new features.
If you’re on Shopware 5, treat the connection as a bridge and plan your migration to Shopware 6.

Install your Shopware 6 plugin
Shopware 6 uses a command-line install rather than a one-click upload, which is why server access matters here. The outline below covers the flow; the Help Center has the exact commands.
In Shopware 6, open Settings › System › Plugin, and download the Lengow plugin.
From your site’s root folder, run the console commands that install and activate the LengowConnector plugin.
Open Orders › Lengow, log in with your Lengow credentials, and confirm the installation screen appears.
Set up your feed, check it, and keep an eye on the first orders flowing back into Shopware.
