Getting started on marketplaces with Magento 2

Do you also wish to make the most of the advantages offered by marketplaces - used by an increasing percentage of worldwide e-consumers? To do so, you must prepare your integration on the marketplaces very carefully, namely by working on your product catalogues so they can migrate from Magento to the desired platforms. Here are a few explanations.

Here is what you need to get started on marketplaces using Magento 2:

• Optimise your product sheets to they respond precisely to purchaser expectations in terms of information.
• Adapt your product catalogues so they can easily be integrated into the chosen marketplaces. Attributes and categories are often different depending on the marketplace: make sure you assess all the prerequisites beforehand. And feel free to meet the optional attributes, that tend to boost product visibility.
• Broadcast your product catalogues on the marketplaces using the Lengow solution. The plug-in for Magento 2 was specifically designed to link your Magento interface to your marketplace accounts, making your dispatching and product flow management easier. More specifically, you must make sure you always have up-to-date stock: it would be a shame to lose orders because you cannot meet the request.
• Learn to manage your orders and supply chain, either via Lengow or an API linked to Magento’s back office.
• Get into the habit of measuring product performance and the profitability of your presence on the marketplaces - by viewing the statistics produced by Lengow via Magento 2. This will help you get off to a better start and optimise your sales processes in the long-run.
