What are the different steps for selling on Zalando?

First and foremost, selling via the Zalando marketplace implies that you have joined their Partner programme, by filling in a form. You then need to follow a special onboarding process:

1. Submit your products to Zalando’s account manager. They will ensure said products are eligible.
2. Check that your product catalogue complies with expectations (categories, brands, seasons, product type, age group, etc.), based on the MasterData provided. If necessary, change your flows via the Lengow platform.
3. Enter all mandatory features into your product catalogue, taking care to fill in all required fields (otherwise Zalando cannot recover the flow).
4. Add pictures which comply with the set requirements, with a view to offering an optimal shopping experience.
5. Exclude any products you do not wish to display, or which the platform has refused to sell.
6. Send in your product flows, then correct any potential mistakes indicated by Zalando.
7. Check that your Zalando back-office settings are correct.
8. Monitor product integration.
9. Repeat the same operation for each country in which you wish to sell your products; a MasterData is required every time. On the Lengow platform, a product flow = a MasterData.
10. All that is left to do is manage your orders (count about 12 weeks between signing the contract with Zalando and launching your sales).

You are now ready to sell on the Zalando marketplace! Drawing on its in-depth knowledge of the platform, Lengow can help you provide the right information and integrate your products quicker.
