Challenges and goals

Clarins chose to work with Lengow’s NetAmplify from the very beginning of its e-commerce journey.

The ambition was clear: centralise all distribution channels and actions within a single platform, and scale rapidly across markets without sacrificing catalogue quality or team autonomy.

As Clarins expanded its digital footprint to 45 countries, the challenge became managing the sheer complexity of the operation, 55 distinct catalogs, each containing an average of 1,500 products, and needing to reach the right partner on the right channel, in the right format, at the right time.

Solutions provided by Lengow

Clarins has been using the Lengow platform since 2012 to distribute its product catalogues across its e-commerce sites (US, Europe, Asia) on marketing channels including affiliation, retargeting, product ads and price comparison sites.

What started as a handful of feeds has grown into a fully scaled operation: 275 feeds, 55 catalogs, and over 70,000 products now distributed across 30+ unique channel partners including Google and Meta. Each market can distribute its catalogue – averaging 1,500 optimised, up-to-date products – across all relevant channels, without relying on the technical team.

Lengow allows Clarins to personalise its catalogues for each distribution channel: highlighted products, brand visibility, lifestyle imagery, and more. Clarins leverages additional image sources to push more “lifestyle” visuals on channels such as Google Shopping and social platforms, and uses automatic rules to flag best-sellers or new launches, enabling smarter bidding on priority products.

Clarins also values the quality of support received: calls in French and English, demos, and reactive technical assistance at every step of the way.

Benefits for Clarins’ business

Fast distribution of quality product catalogs across 45 countries and multiple channels.

Time savings: the team can rapidly launch into new markets.

Full autonomy for the marketing team to edit, correct, and personalise catalogues.

Lengow is an integral part of our e-commerce activity, facilitating the distribution of our product catalogue in a personalised way and in real-time to all our media partners, for multiple countries.
